At first, Jiang Ming Yue viewed Shen Yao Xing with cold detachment. As the young master of Changsheng Pavilion, he saw her as insignificant – just another woman in a world where men held little power.
However, Shen Yao Xing’s uniqueness soon caught his attention. Unlike other women who fawned over his beauty, she seemed utterly unimpressed. Her clear, innocent eyes betrayed no hint of desire when they looked at him. This indifference both intrigued and unsettled Jiang Ming Yue.
As he watched her more closely, Jiang Ming Yue’s interest deepened into infatuation. Shen Yao Xing’s straightforward honesty and childlike enthusiasm stirred unfamiliar feelings in his cold heart.
This growing obsession manifested in increasingly intense actions. Jiang Ming Yue went to great lengths to orchestrate “chance” encounters, even disguising himself as Qing Lian to get close to her. His eyes burned with possessive hunger as he watched her eat the food he provided. When she casually mentioned having someone in her heart, jealous rage consumed him.
Jiang Ming Yue’s emotions towards Shen Yao Xing became a swirling vortex of desire, anger, and longing. Her very existence tormented him. He craved her innocent light while simultaneously wanting to extinguish it, to drag her into his dark world. His cold facade cracked, revealing glimpses of the turmoil within.
When Shen Yao Xing was critically injured, Jiang Ming Yue was devastated. The thought of losing her made him feel like his world was ending. In desperation, he used a life-binding gu to tie his life to hers, willing to die if she died.
After Shen Yao Xing recovered, Jiang Ming Yue became extremely possessive and controlling. He couldn’t bear the thought of her paying attention to anyone or anything else. His jealousy and fear of losing her manifested in suffocating behavior as he tried to isolate her.
When Shen Yao Xing left him over his possessiveness, Jiang Ming Yue felt utterly bereft. He stopped eating and caring for himself, his world colorless without her…
