Rong Xiu’s feelings for Fan Xia started when they were in high school. He watched from afar as she dated other guys, wishing he could be with her instead.

When Fan Xia was with him, Rong Xiu was over the moon. But when she wasn’t around, he got really worried and upset. He hated seeing her talk to other guys. He got so jealous of a guy named Gu Jin Yi that he almost ruined the poor guy’s life.

Even though Rong Xiu acted tough, deep down he was scared of losing Fan Xia. He loved her so much that he was willing to turn his back on his family and let everyone look down on him.
When Rong Xiu got pregnant with Fan Xia’s baby, he was happy to deal with all the hard parts of pregnancy. He thought it would make Fan Xia love him more.

But then Fan Xia left for a whole month while he was pregnant. Rong Xiu cried all the time, thinking she had found someone else.
